This 10 mile running road race in New Hampshire's historic capital city of Concord is a favorite among many since its inaugural race in 2010. It runs along a quiet course with varied features to keep your interest. With a bustling school campus at the start to a bike path over the Merrimack River to a farmside road and back. It is ever so slightly up for the first 5 miles (with a couple quick steep punches mixed in) and, you guessed it... ever so happily and slightly down the way back! Be cheered across the finishline by the kids from the local Boys & Girls Club who your registration directly benefits.
New this year, we are adding a two-person relay option so bring a friend and share the experience! The Boys & Girls Club bus will shuttle to the 5 mile mark delivering runners and bringing the first 5-mile finishers back to the finish in time to cheer their partner across the line.
Additionally, there is a free kids run that takes place at Grappone Hall after the hard core runners have taken off. Bring your family and kids so they can challenge themselves to a fun sprint while you are out on the course.
This event is hosted 100% by volunteers from the local Granite State Running Team, a training club for runners of all abilities, and 100% of the proceeds benefit the The Boys and Girls Club whose mission has a far-reaching and positive impact on the community. Please come with the expectations that this is a local, charity running race.
